Sony Are Working On New Game+ For God Of War

Sony does not have a patch date locked down for God of War's new game plus, but they and the Santa Monica studio will have more information and a date as development progresses.

Released just two months ago, God of War earned critical acclaim and commercial success thanks to reinvention of the series, and now it appears we'll get at least one new feature coming to the game in the near future. The New Game+ Mode is now being developed and it's unclear precisely when it's going to be released for God of War. With no DLC plans on the horizon, and sequel plans presumably still in the very early stages, the developers may well be devoting their time to working on features which were cut due to time constraints.

Have you ever imagined that first test of strength defying battle with Baldur while adorning the Valkyrie Armor on Kratos?

However, that isn't to say that without a God of War New Game Plus mode, there is no longevity to the game. Some companies will even increase the difficulty and some add more content to the New Game Plus. In the blog post announcing the upcoming mode, Sony stated that "New Game+ won't just be a sunny stroll through Midgard". You can with New Game+. Unfortunately, the company didn't provide an exact date, so fans should keep an eye out for any announcements from Sony.
