It Looks Like Amazon Accidentally Leaked When Prime Day 2018 Is

According to a Prime Day Banner that TechRadar discovered on the Amazon U.K. website, consumers can expect the largest Prime Day to take place mid-day July 16th through July 17th.

Prime Day has been a huge hit for Amazon ever since it launched in 2015 and it boasts more deals (and better ones) than Black Friday, the largest commerce day in the United States.

In addition to running their own promotions, some retailers promised past year to price-match Amazon's Prime Day deals.

Previous Prime Days, though, didn't have to compete with the World Cup for people's attention-and the second Tuesday in July will have soccer fans worldwide glued to the set watching the semi-finals.

Amazon Prime Day is Amazon's Christmas Sale in July full of great deals exclusive for Amazon Prime Members. Citing the banner, TechRadar says that Prime Day will last 36 hours, making it the longest Prime Day yet. So our prediction for Amazon Prime Day in the United States this year is a midday start on the 16th EST, running all the way through until midnight on the 17th PST - that would mean Prime Day 2018 running for 39 hours in the US. Cord Cutters News will have a special Prime Day Newsletter to full of all the best Amazon Prime Day deals.

It's not clear what sort of discounts will be up on site, but you can expect Amazon to knock money off its own range of gadgets - particularly the Echo Dot which spends more time on sale than a DFS sofa. But Amazon's Prime Day is a step further, an Amazon-themed day that's all about spending money.

The 2017 event lasted for 30 hours and was open to shoppers in 13 countries.
