EPA's Pruitt takes heat in restaurant over environment policies

Another member of President Trump's administration was confronted by a member of the public, this time in a tea shop in Washington, D.C.

"Scott Pruitt is doing a great job within the walls of the EPA", Trump said.

Pruitt, who has come under fire for allegedly using his position to seek employment for his wife and receiving a discount on a condo rental linked to a lobbying firm, did not respond to Mink during the video, and text at the end said that he "fled the restaurant before I got back to my seat".

Pruitt, who has destroyed U.S. environmental regulation and has bluntly refused to acknowledge climate change science, appeared speechless as Mink spent about 90 seconds listing some of the numerous misuse of funds and corruption scandals he has also faced since becoming head of the EPA under Donald Trump.

Dravis told investigators she declined to reach out to the organization on Marlyn Pruitt's behalf. "She is an honest broker and a very credible witness", Herman said. She just went up to him, her toddler in her arms, and told him to resign.

In March of this year the administration said publicly they would be "rewriting Obama-era rules governing pollution from oil and gas operations and coal ash dumps", the AP reported, which will have significant impacts on our environment and the overall health and well-being of its inhabitants. Mitchell, a longtime friend of Pruitt's, said in a recent op-ed that she had volunteered her time to find Marlyn Pruitt employment.

"We would have meetings what we were going to take off on the official schedule".

Pruitt faces a barrage of ethics complaints and federal inquiries.

According to FOX News, the EPA's inspector general, the Government Accountability Office and the White House are investigating numerous allegations concerning Pruitt's spending on first-class travel and security, his dealings with subordinates and with lobbyists, and other matters.

Dravis as well as Ryan Jackson, Pruitt's chief of staff, each spoke to the committee last week for several hours, accompanied by attorneys.

In the video, Pruitt listens silently as the woman berates him. "It appears they can't honour their own request", he said.
