Trump supporters boycott Walmart for selling 'Impeach 45' clothing

CBS News reports Walmart said it would stop selling "Impeach 45" apparel online.

Ironically, the manufacturer who is responsible for these highly-contested shirts have also sold merchandise that is staunchly Pro-Trump, having mass-produced "Make America Great Again" hats in the past.

Angered patrons have vowed to reject the retailer, as the #BoycottWalmart movement begins to gain traction on social media.

Students for Trump chairman Ryan Fournier first tweeted about the anti-Trump merchandise on Monday.

Walmart did not immediately respond to a request for comment.




Apparel sold on Walmart's website sparks outrage for its sentiment against President Trump.

It's not the first time Walmart has caused a stir. It pulled merchandise branded with "Bulletproof - Black Lives Matter" after complaints from the National Fraternal Order of Police, and past year it removed T-shirts emblazoned with "Rope".

At the time of writing a number of "Impeach 45" products could be found on Walmart's website, including baby onesies, t-shirts, and mugs. "Tree. Journalist. Some assembly required", on its third-party marketplace.

The shirt wasn't made by Walmart.
