For many Americans, the Fourth of July means fireworks.

Grand Park will host it's annual 4th of July Block Party beginning at 3 p.m.

Join the Go-Go's, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West for an Independence Day celebration at the Hollywood Bowl.

Bake goods, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, ice cream, and beverages will be sold for a nominal fee between 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Los Angeles is also planning fireworks, as well as a concert and other celebrations at the Hollywood Bowl.

PRICE: Discounted $9 admission for Military Service Members, First Responders, and their families; $17 for adults; $11 for ages 3-17.

There will be fireworks at dusk on Lake George at Shepard Park in the village of Lake George and in Bolton Landing at dusk.

Anytime fireworks are being set off, there are certain recommended safety precautions to take.

Free concert tickets are being given away at Fort Dalles Fourth. July 3 fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on July 4, on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on Dec. 25, and on Dec. 31, fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. January 1.

Across the country, this Fourth of July is the first that many people will be able to call themselves USA citizens after participating in naturalization ceremonies.

4th of July Jubilee: Schertz says that their jubilee is one of South Texas' largest tributes to freedom and to those who serve. This setup denied Keystone residents their firework freedoms while implicitly undermining similar prohibitions in bordering states. Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Chief Mike Deshayes says this year's theme is "Land of the free because of the courageous". The city will provide free hot dogs, apple pies, and other goodies. The parade features floats, cars, marching children, horses, motorcycles, and more. The rain date is Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
