Apple Might Be Releasing the New iPhone in Blue, Red, & Orange

The speculated 6.1-inch LED iPhone may debut in white, blue, red, grey, and orange.

"Apple is attempting to release new iPhones with enhanced features next year and it is eyeing developing foldable iPhones, which will come several years later". The new phones will all come in white, black, and gold, but the smallest model will also come in grey, blue, red and orange, Kuo's report said, according to 9to5Mac.

But gold and Product (RED) aside, Apple seems to view color as signifying cheaper iPhones.

Rumors indicate that Apple is planning to release three new iPhones this year-two with pricey OLED screens, and an entry-level LCD model.

"It is very possible that when Kuo says "grey" and "white" he is referring to the Space Grey and Silver finishes as seen on the current iPhone X", 9to5Mac reports. The company is expected to unveil a new 5.8-inch OLED iPhone, a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, and a 6.5-inch OLED iPhone.

This isn't like the Rose Gold color we've seen on some previous Apple handsets though, we would expect it to look more like the iPhone SE's gold shade. With a $1,000 price tag, it's likely that this device will be replacing the iPhone X as Apple's flagship device. That means iPhone users can expect a new model to hit shelves when the weather starts to get cold. The 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch iPhone X variants will do well at launch due to the hype surrounding them at launch and early adopters, but over time, it is the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone that will find more takers.
