Orange Is the New Black Season 6

This season, the inmates will also face the consequences for last season's prison riots; however, it's clear that the system definitely won't show these women any mercy.

Created by Jenji Kohan and based on Piper Kerman's memoir of the same name, Orange is the New Black has garnered 12 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, and won three.

The trailer for season six of the show has been released, and it is sure to get you excited for the release of the episodes.

Season six of Orange Is The New Black arrives July 27 on Netflix. All we know is that we don't think we trust her.

After a polarizing Season 5 which followed the real-time rioting of the outraged Litchfield inmates, Season 6 picks up with the law back on hand and cracking down more than ever. The finale saw many fan favorites - including Suzanne (Uzo Aduba), Piper (Taylor Schilling), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Red (Kate Mulgrew), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), and Gloria (Selenis Leyva) - being captured by officials and bussed away to an undisclosed location.

Unless Orange Is the New Black is doing something wildly experimental and weird, you can probably expect their return.

Following the fatal prison riot at the end of season five, the women of Litchfield have been transferred to maximum security, while investigators try to figure out who was to blame. Will they take plea deals and turn on each other or band together and keep their bonds intact? Now newbies, they must navigate new rules and power dynamics, starting at the bottom, and getting hazed by inmates and tortured by guards.
