Riyad Mahrez signs for Man City? Leaked photo suggests Leicester done deal

Riyad Mahrez is set to join Manchester City in a £60m move, Vanguard has learnt.

According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 19:18pm, Saturday, July 7, 2018), Roberts is leading to Leicester from Premier League champions City in a £10 million deal.

The 27-year-old has been a long-term target for City, and moves to the Premier League champions on a five-year-deal for a fee believed to be in the region of £60m.

According to the Daily Mail, the Algerian worldwide is set for a medical at Manchester City between Sunday and Tuesday.

He then came on as a substitute the next day, having missed the previous two games, as Leicester were beaten 5-1 away by Pep Guardiola's City, and featured in every match for the Foxes for the rest of the season.

"Riyad is a hugely talented player".

The German boss has kicked off his summer recruitment drive in decent fashion by signing Naby Keita from Red Bull Leipzig and Fabinho from Monaco, with more signings expected to arrive before the big kick-off in August.

"He beats defenders and creates space", City director of football Txiki Begiristain said. They're redefining the English game and I wanted to be a part of it. "Pep is committed to playing attacking football, which is a ideal for me, and City's performances last season were outstanding", he said on the club's official website.

Mahrez's experience of winning the Premier League will certainly have left him hungry for more success, and he now has the chance to achieve that once more under the stewardship of Pep Guardiola.
