Serena Williams and Meghan Markle 'helped each other through a lot'

Eagle-eyed royal watchers spotted that the Duchess of Sussex, 36, had left the packaging on the protective studs on the underside of her £475 Strathberry tote as she stepped off the plane at Dublin City Airport on Tuesday evening. The frock featured ruffle detail and a boatneck neckline, which has become Markle's signature royal style. She proceeded to ask: "When are you and Meghan going to get going?" "She knows what she wants and really it was an absolute joy working with her", she said.

At the event, Meghan raised a glass of champagne for a toast - before placing the drink to her lips.

The Prince sported a crisp navy suit with an azure tie to represent Ireland's Presidential colours, while the fashion-conscious Duchess wore a grey Roland Mouret taupe dress and a pair of black heels.

Duchess Meghan exuded elegance and sophistication, and rightly so.

He may not be a father just yet, but Prince Harry already has the finger wag down pat, the Duke of Sussex going into dad-mode during his first official trip as a newlywed to Ireland with Meghan Markle.

Earlier, there was another rather light-hearted moment reported online about the Royal Couple that had taken place in Dublin's Croke Park stadium.

This was the first time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out with all three children. Her husband, meanwhile, opted for a semi-casual look in a white shirt, an unbuttoned gray jacket and matching trousers. "She's a breath of fresh air in the Royal Family".

Back in April, the former actress' character, Rachel Zane, was written out of the script with a wedding which mirrored her own big day. But don't expect her Givenchy suit to be her last outfit of the day.

And speaking about the confirmation from Kensington Palace that Meghan would be cheering Serena on as she plays in the women's finals on Saturday, she said: 'I look forward to it'.
