Meghan Markle’s Dad Says She’s ‘Terrified,’ Plus: His Criticism of Royal Family

Meghan, 36, looked incredible in a tailored, sleeveless trench coat by House of Nonie - a Canadian brand- and accessorised her latest look with a pair of Dioressence pumps by Dior and a Mulberry Clifton shoulder bag.

The Duchess of Cambridge has always been a presence at the famous tennis tournament, regularly attending matches as a child with her family and then as a royal family member with William. As much as Meghan is living a fairytale, her life isn't flawless.

Thomas said that despite his efforts, he has been unable to reach Meghan since they spoke briefly after her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry.

"If I chose in a month, or couple of months, to go to England - I want to see my daughter".

"It is probably the longest time I have gone without speaking to her ever", he said.

The explosive interview is said to have upset the Queen and infuriated Buckingham Palace officials. "I think she is terrified", Thomas told The Sun in a July 15 interview. "Meghan loves her dad but he's making it more and more hard for her to have a relationship with him. This one isn't even a stage smile - this is a pained smile." the 73-year-old told the publication. Harry's father, Prince Charles, walked her down the aisle instead.

Thomas Markle claims he believes the royal family shunned him because of the paparazzi photo scandal.

Hopefully, this is the last we'll hear from Thomas for a hot minute. "Does she want this to be the last thing we've said to each other?"

After Samantha Markle dropped the bombshell, Thomas admitted he'd agreed to accept money for "staged photographs", and explained: "The reason I am being shunned is because I made a profit on the staged pictures".

"Meghan seems like something out of an old movie", he told The Sun.

Thomas further directs a message towards Meghan, saying: "I love you".

"Right now she's trying to navigate so many new things, including how to maintain a relationship with her dad when she can't trust him to keep anything confidential".
