Elon Musk Calls Diver in Thai Soccer Team Rescue a Pedophile

He elaborated that Musk "had no conception of what the cave passage was like".

He told CNN: 'It just had absolutely no chance of working. "[Musk] had no conception of what the cave passage was like".

"It wouldn't have made the first fifty meters into the cave", he said, shaking his head.

The diver had criticized the submarine that the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company delivered to Thailand as being a "PR stunt".

According to the newspaper, Musk attacked Vern Unsworth (63) on twitter following the diver's criticism of Musk.

Vernon Unsworth, a senior member of the 18-member multinational team involved in the rescue operation, drew Musk's wrath after he criticised his plan to send a mini-submarine to free the kids stranded in the caves.

'Only people in sight were the Thai navy/army guys, who were great. Musk personally arrived at the scene of the rescue operation, but nearly immediately he was asked to leave the scene.

"We will make [a video] of the mini-sub going all the way to Cave 5 no problemo".

In response Mr Musk, 47, posted a series of tweets and referred to the British caver as "pedo guy", apparently on the basis that he is a westerner living in Asia.

Some Tesla investors have suggested Elon Musk focus on building cars.

The attack against Unsworth, the Guardian reported, was presented without evidence or context, and there is no evidence to substantiate Musk's claim of paedophilia.

"Bet ya a signed dollar it's true", he wrote in another tweet that has also been deleted. It is made of rocket parts & named Wild Boar after kids' soccer team.

Musk on July 6 began brainstorming at length on Twitter about a small submarine to help rescue the team.

"I was *asked* to help repeatedly", Musk continued in another tweet. He deleted the tweets shortly afterward, but they live on via the long tail of the Internet.

The children were eventually rescued individually, each accompanied by two divers and navigating dark and tight passageways filled with muddy water and strong currents, as well as oxygen-depleted air.

"Yes", Mr Unsworth said when asked if he would consider legal action.

Meanwhile, in a video taken of the boys recovering in a hospital, they speak in Thai mixed with some English, introducing themselves and thanking their rescuers.

Neither Musk nor Unsworth responded to Fox News' requests for comment.
