Manchester United target Yerry Mina undergoes Everton medical in Barcelona

Manchester United will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season after they finished second and without a trophy last term. After a month-long transfer saga, Yerry Mina has finally left the Catalan giants to move to Everton for £30.25 million.

It is understood that Everton are now expected to land Rojo too for £22million, which suggests Man United may have a centre-back lined up to replace him.

In this case, everything indicates that the final agreement will end up being a loan and not a permanent transfer as the Azulgrana wanted 20 million euros for the player.

"FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their thanks to Yerry Mina for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future".

According to the aforementioned report, two more Barcelona stars are set to join Digne at Everton as Mina and Gomes allegedly passed their medicals at a hospital in Barcelona.

With the ability to play at centre-back or at full-back, he'll provide a decent option to Marco Silva if a deal is completed before the transfer window closes.

Barcelona were willing to accept £30m for the player.

The Everton manager also let Ashley Williams leave the side on loan to join Stoke City and Ramiro Funes Mori was allowed to join Villarreal. The Toffees take on newcomers, Wolves, in their first match of the 2018-19 Premier League season on Saturday, 11th August.
