Former aide of ‘racist con’ Trump releases secret tape of her firing

She recalls him saying: 'Omarosa, what do you think about me getting sworn in on The Art Of The Deal?' "But what's interesting is, they take me into the Situation Room, the doors are locked. If they are walking down the sidewalk, their position is you better get out the way", Jim told AFP. "And they start to threaten me, put fear in me, to put me under duress".

Manigault Newman said she taped the meeting, which was held in the Situation Room, because she was trying to "protect" herself.

She also said she was inadvertently complicit in covering up Trump's perceived racism.

"If I didn't have these recording, no one in America would believe me", she continued. "So yes I recorded myself and I have no regret about it". Sarah Huckabee stands in front of the country and lies every single day. "You have to have your own back because otherwise you'll look back and you'll see 17 knives in your back".

The White House and Trump allies have blasted Newman's account as false in numerous statements.

On NBC, Tapper reminded Manigault Newman that in December 2016 she had written: "I am living the American Dream because of Donald's very hard to make the argument that Donald Trump doesn't like black people and black women".

"The first time I ever heard Omarosa suggest those bad things about this president are in this book", she said, noting Manigault Newman "is somebody who gave a glowing appraisal of Donald Trump, the businessman, the star of the The Apprentice, the candidate and, indeed, the president of the United States".

Manigault Newman said that Trump "never said the n-word in my presence", but in her book she cites unnamed sources who claim to know of the existence of a recording where the president uses that word on the set of "The Apprentice".

Manigault Newman explained Sunday that she'd resisted leaving the White House because "I was working to try to find someone who could take my place", noting the White House hasn't hired another African American presidential aide since her departure.

"I've worked alongside of him for over two straight years now without interruption".

The Washington Post reported Friday that after being fired, Manigault Newman declined a $15,000-a-month job offer from President Trump's campaign, which came with a nondisclosure agreement stating that she could not make disparaging comments about Trump, Vice President Pence, their families, Trump's businesses or the campaign.

Quoting Trump's early, post-inauguration speech at the Central Intelligence Agency lamenting his inauguration crowd, Manigault Newman takes some editorial liberty, adding within quotation marks that Trump says, "Liars!"
