Bayern Munich star reject to play for Mourinho's Man United

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben is hoping the club's management will make the right decision with regards to Jerome Boateng's future.

And they will now have to look elsewhere yet again after Le Parisien reported that the Germany World Cup victor has agreed a deal with Ligue 1 giants PSG.

And the report claims the Red Devils were only willing to pay half of Bayern's asking price.

Manchester United appear to have missed out on Jerome Boateng after he agreed on personal terms with PSG, according to reports in France.

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has reportedly rejected to play for Jose Mourinho's Manchester United due to the Premier League club not good enough to win Champions League.

"But it will take more than a quality defender to galvanise them, and this is where you have to respect Mourinho's track record and his history of winning trophies".

Bayern want £45million for Boateng to leave permanently, which the Premier League side are unwilling to pay, and now they are once again looking to land Maguire - who is valued at £65m. Otherwise, Robben is concerned about the team's success.

After moving to the Bavarians in 2011, Boateng developed into one of the world's best defenders, but the relationship between him and Bayern has suffered over the years. "He is one of the world's best, and we need his physical presence on the pitch".

Boateng, 29, suffered muscle and tendon injuries over the past three Bundesliga campaigns, missing 27 games in total since December 2016.

The player stressed that the accusations were a great disappointment to him. "We will announce any news whenever there is some to announce, but for now there is nothing new", Salihamidzic stressed.
