Ryan Giggs raves about reported Liverpool target Aaron Ramsey

Ryan Giggs raves about reported Liverpool target Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal are in a fantastic position going into the global break, after an impressive 5-1 win over Fulham.

Lacazette and Aubameyang scored two goals each, with Aaron Ramsey netting the other one for the visitors.

"It is hard to compare (Aubameyang's record) with Thierry because he came younger and Auba is at the top of his career but I hope Auba scores as many goals to help us win something", Lacazette said.

Liverpool are believed to be among the early favourites to sign the player, with Ramsey believed to be interested in the idea of playing under Jurgen Klopp.

Whether a deal goes through or not remains to be seen, but Ramsey has now been hailed by his Wales manager and ex-Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs.

'I have to stick with Arsenal, they have to make this kind of stance, the amount of players we've lost in this fashion. "Aaron's a good character, he has a good personality and is a good professional".

With Arsenal fans in nostalgic mood, we look back on 10 of their classic kits and 10 that are best forgotten.

Mahrez has now missed five of his past eight Premier League penalties - one for City and four for his previous club Leicester City - and seems highly unlikely to be given another chance after blasting the ball over the bar in the 86th minute. He's played at Arsenal for 10 years - and all these games for Wales.

"I must be anxious when we play bad and lose, I trust we play well and have more options to win the game".

'I think Arsenal have to do this, they have to make everybody else in the squad know how it's going to be from this day onwards, and that's why the withdrawal of the contract is a big statement from them.
