William and Kate to attend mental health summit

William and Kate to attend mental health summit

The Duchess of Cambridge was stunning in a lilac Emilia Wickstead dress and blush-colored heels.

The young royals have been strong advocates for mental health, setting up the Heads Together campaign in 2016 through their official charity, The Royal Foundation.

The couple were invited to contribute to a painting, leaving them in stitches.

After the artist pointed to one of the figure's shoulders, the duchess added a small stroke and asked: "Fine?"

Kate, 36, who studied History of Art at St Andrews, where she first met her husband, laughed and took the brush from Mr Vargas, asking him: 'Where can you hide it?' Mr Vargas pointed to a shoulder area and Kate made her brushstroke - as William joked: 'It's nearly ruined the picture'.

"That's pretty much ruined the picture", William joked, via E!

This saw the couple break out into laughter along with the crowd.

They also heard presentations on two case studies of active mental health programmes from Slovenia and the US and visited an exhibition area.

The meeting will help countries work together to deal with stigma attached to mental health and address other issues to do with mental ill-health. The couple frocked up and looked fab as they went to the first Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit, their first public outing as a couple since Louis was born.

The royals also visited a stand run by United for Global Mental Health and heard about the work of Dixon Chibanda, who started an initiative in Zimbabwe.

Prince William and Catherine flashed huge smiles.

The couple is also preparing for another big event on Friday when William's cousin, Princess Eugenie, celebrates her Royal Wedding to fiance, Jack Brooksbank, at Windsor Castle.

Welcome back guys, we've missed you!
