Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande call off their engagement, break up

According to new reports, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's whirlwind romance is already over, only four months after they got engaged. TMZ reports that Grande and Davidson have not ruled out dating in the future.

The celebrity couple has split and called off the engagement, sources told TMZ.

According to TMZ, the pair made a decision to go their separate ways this weekend after deciding it "wasn't the right time" for them to be in a relationship.

The last two years have been emotionally draining for the songstress.

But things took a darker turn a few weeks ago when news broke that Grande's longtime boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, had died of a drug overdose.

Grande was open about experiencing anxiety and PTSD after a suicide bomber killed 22 people and injured more than 500 in a terrorist attack at the Manchester show of her Dangerous Woman tour in May 2017.

First of all, she was supposed to appear at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala in Los Angeles, but she just dropped out last night.

Last week, she hit back at a fan who called her "lazy", retorting, "Been thru hell and back and I'm doing my best to keep going (sic)".

Scooter continued, "And you saw your invite, someone I'm very close to was supposed to come sing for you today, and because of things that she's going through, she couldn't be here today".

'I believe in us and all, but I just want to make sure that she can't go anywhere, ' he said during an appearance on SNL.

Grande began dating Davidson nearly immediately after her split with Mac Miller went public.
