Deal brings NFL outfits to Fortnite shop

Epic Games announced Monday.

"Fortnite" players will be able to purchase and customize up to eight in-game outfits in the Battle Royale Item Shop starting on Friday, Nov. 9 at 4 p.m. PT.

Other cosmetics will be available to go along with the outfits, including NFL-themed gliders, harvesting tools, emotes, and skins, the latter category housing a nice referee skin, we're told. Gamers can add any jersey number they want to the uniforms, which will be available for male and female character builds.

The NFL will be infiltrating the massively popular world of "Fortnite" this week thanks to a new deal between the league and Epic Games.

Gamers can purchase a jersey of any of the 32 National Football League teams and add a number on it (from 1-99) via the Battle Royale store.

"Complete these challenges before 1PM ET, November 11 (6PM UTC) to earn the Lil' Kev Back Bling" says Epic. "We'll give you a status update on these when we get it to a better state". Were you in-game when the Fortnite Cube exploded?

Next up are some changes to the controls.

Play Fortnite Battle Royale, the completely free 100-player PvP mode.

After the cube exploded, Fortnite players were treated to a blinding white screen, and were then transported to a odd digital world where they were just floating with all the other players in the match.

As it relates to performance, there will be major performance improvements for devices that run Android 7.0 Nougat and some older operating systems. Speaking of which, don't forget that you can probably pair a Bluetooth-compatible Xbox One controller with your phone if they're both reasonably up to date.
