Ariana Grande Slips During 'thank u, next' Performance On Ellen

Ariana Grande today released the music video to her song Breathin', and, perhaps not surprisingly, everyone has gone wild for her latest offering.

After releasing her incredible album "Sweetener" just a couple of months ago, Ariana Grande suddenly dropped her new song "thank u, next" out of nowhere recently - and now she's performed it for the first time ever on Ellen.

The 25-year-old singer debuted the song during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is airing on Wednesday (November 7).

Joined by Victoria Monét and Tayla Parx, who both have writing credits on the breakup anthem that calls out Grande's exes Pete Davidson, Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez and Mac Miller, the pop star paid tribute "The First Wives Club" both in costume and performance.

Safe to say, this woman is one strong and incredible idol to many - but she keeps churning out the songs because, hey, we all deal with things differently and her creative outlet is hers to use however she wishes. It'll make you feel good, especially that grand finale where Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton all belt out "You Don't Own Me" dressed in fabulous white ensembles. So half an hour before the latest episode of SNL started, Grande put her new single out into the world, and it nearly immediately became a meme to rival "me voting in 2016 voting today".

The tracks included Cadillac and Champagne, thought to be versions of Ariana's previously unreleased songs.

"I thought we were supposed to exit!" the singer noted. DeGeneres responds: "It's totally fine, we're happy that you came back. We love you, we support you".
