FINISH HIM!! Mortal Kombat 11 Announced and Dated for Release

Following the game's announcement, a press release was sent out that divulged new information about one of Mortal Kombat 11's most notable features: its custom character variation system.

The original Mortal Kombat was first released in 1992 and has seen 10 major releases since. Mortal Kombat 11 will be getting brutal and bloody when it launches on 23rd April 2019, with a proper reveal set for 17th January. A prepared statement for the title suggests that the much maligned gear system from Injustice 2 is making a comeback as well. According to the developers, Mortal Kombat 11 lets players build their own customized versions of each character with unique attacks and special moves. While the new addition to the franchise offers a wide range of new and returning Klassic characters, the graphics engine promises to enhance more than ever, every minute detail of the violence that the game is known for.

Following the official reveal earlier today at The Game Awards, Warner Bros. Fans can preorder the game on console and PC starting tomorrow (including Nintendo Switch), with bonuses including Shao Kahn access and beta access.
