Backstage News On Chris Jericho’s Contract With AEW

At this point, there's no word on whether Kenny Omega will join his friends in The Elite as part of AEW.

The biggest announcement was the signing of four-time WWE World Champion Chris Jericho, who proclaimed he's "all in on All Elite Wrestling".

They must have moved pretty quickly to wrap the deal up as well because according to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Y2J had been in talks with WWE for weeks about returning.

However, Jericho's deal with AEW is not exclusive, as he's still interested in working with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

AEW is the brainchild of another former WWE star Cody Rhodes - son of wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes - and The Young Bucks, an Indie sensation tag team.

There are said to be some wrestlers in WWE who have known about the company since September.

Ocala.com has an article about Chris Jericho coming to the city this Saturday to do a meet-and-greet and record an episode of Talk Is Jericho with WWE Hall Of Famer, Dory Funk Jr.

In that time Ryder has had some success, winning the Tag Team, United States and Intercontinental Championships, though these reigns have not lasted long. Those who are most familiar with AEW seem to think it's a legitimate venture that has a shot at making it due to how in tune with wrestling the key players are. He is also a Journalism graduate from Sheffield Hallam University.
