The Nokia 8 Sirocco is an ultra-compact, beautifully designed powerhouse, blending Nokia's premium craftsmanship with effortless performance.

Renders for the Nokia 8.1 Plus recently surfaced, and as you can see, the phone has a large, almost bezel-less screen with a small cutout in the top-left corner for its front-facing camera. As usual, Nokia is part of the "Android One" program, which just means the phone has stock Android and a reliable update schedule. So, the fingerprint sensor will not be in-display.

2019 is still in its early days, but even so, we're already expecting a lot of phones to ship this year with a hole-punch style notch.

Based on 91mobiles and @OnLeaks collab, the Nokia 8.1 Plus has a 6.22-inch possibly Full HD+ screen with super thin side bezels and a sizable punch-hole in the upper left corner.

The first renders for the next Nokia smartphone have been posted.

Nokia 8 Sirocco users using Android 9 Pie will enjoy improvements to their smartphone experience based on their daily phone use. If you want a high-end Nokia phone, it seems like you would want the front of the Nokia 8.1 Plus combined with the back from the Nokia 9. Although nothing is known about the innards of the phone right now, given the fact that it is tipped to have a physical fingerprint reader and a dual camera setup, it will most likely have mid-tier specifications that we see on the more affordable smartphones with highly improved specifications.
