Some House Dems upset with Ocasio-Cortez

Former Senator and one-time Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman has joined the list of once-relevant politicians who feel the need to take time out their day to tell the world they just don't get Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Some lawmakers who have working relationships with Ocasio-Cortez are hoping to coax her into using her huge platform to unite Democrats and turn her fire on Republicans, instead, Politico reported.

Last week, a conservative activist released an old video of Ocasio-Cortez dancing in college, apparently in an homage to the '80s classic The Breakfast Club, in an effort to humiliate the newly-sworn-in Congresswoman. She's repeatedly stated her support for legalization and advocated to fix the harms caused by the War on Drugs.

Through her staff, Ocasio-Cortez declined to comment to Politico.

Meanwhile, Jessica Proud, spokeswoman for the New York State GOP, said: "Hypocrisy at its finest".

Democratic leaders are mostly upset that the Bronx native railed against their new House rules on Twitter during the first week of the new Congress.

"People are afraid of her", a senior Democratic aide told Politico, as some Democrats have withheld criticism of Ocasio-Cortez in fear that she'll go after them on Twitter.

'The so-called champion of workers, when given her own responsibility, is not following the law...'

"If you look at the majority of new Democrats in the House, they tend to be, I say, center-left, if they are not left-left". "This is basic stuff, especially if you hold yourself out to be the champion of workers".

Additionally, Ocasio-Cortez accused: President Trump "he has a proven track record of discrimination against anybody who's really non-white in the United States" predating his 2016 election to the White House.

According to the Daily News, her spokesman had "nothing to add".

AOC knows that - hell, she represents that - and judging by Joe's inane comments to somebody as far right wing as Cavuto... we think Joe may have an idea that his time has always been up, too.
