Anthem's Launch Trailer Appears, Two Weeks Early

The full release date for Anthem is just under two weeks away now, but the release of the launch trailer makes sense seeing how the first opportunity people will have to play the full game will come on February 15th, but only for Origin Access Premier subscribers. Challenges occur on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and reward you with materials and coin. With every mission, you and your Javelin grow in power. The world of Anthem is terrifying, dangerous, and unpredictable - and you will have to deal with its deadliest phenomena, called Cataclysms.

Personalize your Javelins to showcase your accomplishments: As you rank up and defeat powerful foes, you'll gather loot and complete milestones in the game, unlocking wonderful personalization options that turn your Javelins into visual testaments to your ability and achievement. Do enough contracts, and a Legendary Contract will open up; which are multi-part missions that take a lot more time to complete, but with greater rewards.

Bioware has also dished out a look at the future roadmap for Anthem to ensure that players know that plenty is in store over the next couple of months. Improving your reputation with different groups will give you access to crafting blueprints. Or do you think Anthem will lack the content necessary to keep you interested? Strongholds are some of the highest-level fixed challenges in Anthem, and they'll put your entire squad to the test.

These missions will be made available in the "Anthem" free-roaming mode, called Freeplay. World events happen randomly in Freeplay and the environment can change in a second, so stay sharp.

The world will also evolve along with live service hooks, whether directly through new areas that're unlocked through puzzles, raids, or other player-driven content, or indirectly through cataclysmic global events. It's rather vague, but you can see these in the images embedded above. Check out the trailer below and grab your copy of the highly anticipated action-RPG on February 22, 2019, on the Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4!
