Ariana Grande Is Not Upset with Cardi B, Explains Her Grammys Tweet

Ariana Grande called the GRAMMYs trash for not awarding Mac Miller with the award for "Best Rap Album", but ensured everyone she wasn't shading Cardi B.

Following her response, one replied saying "she's trash tho fr", and Ariana responding, clarifying her intentions; "she's not at all and that's not what i meant and u know that".

- Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) February 10, 2019i know i'm not there tonight (trust, i tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and i know i said i try not to put too much weight into these things. but fuck. this is wild and handsome. thank you so much.

The win was announced during Sunday's pre-show, and despite the pop star's creative differences with Ehrlich, she had nothing but gratitude for her team and fans.

According to PEOPLE, Ms Grande was annoyed that the Grammys had invited Miller's parents to the ceremony and didn't give him the award.

Besting fellow nominees Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, Travis Scott and the late Mac Miller, the clearly shocked rapper took the stage to deliver a peak Cardi speech. And it appears Ariana Grande wasn't too happy about it.

"Welcome to the Grammys", she said while being fanned. "Rest in peace!" she said in a video posted to Instagram.

She added: "I know I'm not there tonight".

In a not so typical speech, she joked her nerves were so bad "maybe I need to start smoking w**d".

The 26-year-old rapper took home the award for Best Rap Album for her album Invasion of Privacy at the at the 2019 Grammy Awards - and she was totally overwhelmed with emotions.
