Bebe Rexha Stuns In Monsoori Dress At 2019 Grammys: See The Look

In January the singer uploaded a video to her Instagram account speaking out about her frustration over designers who are unwilling to dress her for being a size 8 (that's an Aussie size 12) for the awards.

The best new artist nominee didn't take "no" for an answer when she was called "too big" by many designers a few weeks ago.

Alongside a giant diamond necklace, Rexha lived out her true Cinderella dream in the Monsoori red tulle ball gown. "I just want to wear people and work with people who love me for me".

When asked about the dress by Access Online, the singer didn't hold back, delivering a pretty blunt message to all those designers who refused to dress her: "You wish you had dressed my fat ass!"

The singer continued, "If a size 6-8, is too big, then I don't know what to tell you".

"I'm wearing Monsoori!" Rexha told Entertainment Tonight.

Fans and fellow celebrities applauded Bebe Rexha for calling out designers who made it seem as though women who are not a size 0 aren't considered handsome.

"It's been awesome. I didn't expect it". "I really didn't expect that, so my size 8 a** is here on the red carpet". "I wanted to go for that vibe". "I have two options, and I'm gonna pick the one I feel like in the moment", Rexha revealed. "I had to get this off my chest. I got Jeremy Scott, Moschini and Christian Siriano and Karl Lagerfeld hit me up and I was like, 'This is incredible.'" Prior to the big night, Rexha told Variety at the Women in Harmony event that she had two dresses for the big occasion ready to go.

"You're saying all the women in the world that are a size 8 and up are not handsome and that they can not wear your dresses".

Among other awards, Bebe Rexha and H.E.R. are nominated for Best New Artist at the 61st Grammy Ceremony.
