First 'Frozen 2' trailer provides an ominous look ahead

2019 is going to be a huge year for Disney - and if Toy Story 4, the "live-action" remakes of Dumbo, Aladdin, and The Lion King, and those very big Star Wars and Marvel movies wasn't enough, we've also got Frozen 2 on the way.

Our favorite ice queen has returned in what looks to be an incredible sequel to the blockbuster hit. The footage didn't reveal much about the highly anticipated sequel, but it did show Elsa reuniting with some familiar faces, including Princess Anna (Kristen Bell), Olaf (Josh Gad), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and his friendly reindeer named Sven.

The film brings back directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck with Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez who wrote the songs for the original movie.

Check out your first look at Frozen 2 below! We're not really sure, but that's the point. Perhaps this is in response to how a lot of adults brushed off the original Frozen released in 2013. It's now the highest-grossing animated film of all time. "I'm beyond excited to create alongside my Frozen family!"

The movie will hit theaters just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 22, 2019.
