Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Listed for Switch on Ubisoft’s Website

While the original storyline from the American Revolution would be retained, the game would include additional post-launch content as well, of which, players would be able to experience the hidden secret missions as well as the Tyranny of King Washington story arc.

Assassin's Creed III was originally released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii U. The remastered version is for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and presumably the Switch.

Other then the fact that a New Game Plus mode is making its way to the latest Assassin's Creed title, not much else has been revealed.

Just like Spyro, Assassin's Creed III Remastered has been heavily rumoured for Switch for some time but has never officially been announced. As always, you'll meet more than your fair share of interesting characters as you try to uncover the grand mystery that only the past can reveal. The remastered version will release this March 29th on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. This is for Assassin's Creed 3 and the spin-off Liberation, which is part of the package. It will release on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for $39.99 or your regional equivalent and Assassin's Creed Odyssey season pass holders will get the game as part of the season pass. The tweet also has an announcement trailer which gives you some glimpse of the game.

Ubisoft reiterated the re-release of adventure action Assassin's Creed III and released on this occasion next video.
